I am a follower of Christ and daughter of the one true King. I am confident in who I am because I know that God created me to be all of who I am. I am a listener, encourager, and achiever. I try my best and hardest in everything I do. I am organized, calm, and joyful. I am a poet and an avid reader (when I get the time). I love the feeling of opening up and reading and absorbing everything a new (or old) book has to offer for me. I throw myself into the novel and come out feeling as though I was a character in it. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and dogs; I am a huge dog-lover. I am super close to my family; my mom is my best friend, my dad is one of my biggest inspirations, and my brother can always make me laugh and keeps me going.

 

I'm from a town on the smaller side, and perhaps because of this I would like to travel more and work in bigger industries, at least for a little while. I long to make a difference in others’ lives around me and I think this can be done in a multitude of ways. I chose business, specifically marketing, because I think it has the potential to change lives and it can be used in anything and with everything. Marketing is important because of its instrumental role in advertising what was, what is, and what will be. And even though I would like to work in a larger industry and travel the world eventually, I would like to end up in another small town, with my family close by, and a small bookstore of my own to run.
